<br />AGREEMENT <br />CLP Project No. 2002-5201 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made this ~ day of March ,2002, by and between the <br />CITY OF LA PORTE, hereinafter called "Owner", acting herein through its CITY <br />MANAGER and Brooks Concrete Inc. (a corporation): <br />of Pasadena County of Harris ,and State of Texas, hereinafter called <br /> <br />"Contractor". <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payments and agreements <br />hereinafter mentioned, to be made and performed by the OWNER, the CONTRACTOR <br />hereby agrees with the OWNER to commence and complete the construction described <br />as follows: <br />CONCRETE SLAB FOR CENTRAL PARK OUTDOOR SKATING RINK <br />CLP PROJECT NO. 2002-5201 <br /> <br />hereinafter called the project, for the Total Price of Thirty eiQht thousand three hundred <br />fifty two and 24/100 ( $ 38,352.24 ) and all extra work in connection therewith, <br />under the terms as stated in the General and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract; <br />and <br /> <br />Further, that the CONTRACTOR agrees, at his (its or their) own proper cost and <br />expense, to furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, <br />superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to <br />complete the said project in accordance with: <br />A. The terms and conditions stated in the Proposal and in the General <br />Conditions, and Supplementary Conditions of this Contract; Scope of Work <br />B. The plans, which include all maps, plats, blue prints, and other drawings <br />and printed or written explanatory matter thereof; and <br />C. The Specifications and other contract documents therefore, as prepared <br />by the City of La Porte, all of which are made a part hereof and collectively evidence <br />and constitute the contract. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT 1 of 2 <br />
