(4) Two sheep or goats per acre. <br />Plus one head for each additional one-half acre of land on the same parcel. <br />(b) In any event, the total for the above referenced grazing animals (i.e. sheep, goats, swine, cows, or <br />horses) shall be cumulative. In the event of fowl or recreational livestock in the large lot uses, no <br />specific concentration is established herein, but in no event, shall the cumulative concentration of fowl <br />grazing or recreational livestock be such as to create a health hazard or nuisance. The requirements <br />of section 34-126 et seq. shall apply in any event. <br />(c) The keeping of livestock or fowl for the purpose of breeding, commercial feeding or sale, whether <br />engaged in as a primary or accessory activity, shall be considered a conditional use as specified by <br />section 106-331 (Table A, residential uses). <br />(d) Large lot district only. <br />(1) Recreational livestock is a permitted accessory use kept on tracts of contiguous land (under one <br />ownership) totaling one acre in size or larger. <br />(2) For any pre-existing, nonconforming livestock use, without the required primary structure in <br />existence prior to this article, shall be permitted upon submittal and subsequent city approval. <br />Upon such approval registration form shall be issued to the property owner. <br />(3) Recreational livestock concentration shall not exceed grazing livestock concentration unless the <br />following provisions are met: <br />a. A barn and/or similar structure adequate to house livestock is provided to accommodate <br />the number of livestock regardless of type; <br />b. Proper maintenance/care is adequately provided; and <br />c. The site shall be maintained to avoid any public nuisance <br />Section 6: That Section 106-773 -Exterior Storage', Article V ``Supplementary District Regulations'', <br />Division 3 "Area Requirements", of Chapter 106, -Zoning," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La <br />Porte, Texas, is hereby amended and shall hereinafter read as follows: <br />"Sec. 106-773. - Exterior storage. <br />In residential zones, all materials and equipment shall be stored within a building or fully screened so <br />as not to be visible from adjoining properties and any public right-of-way, except for the following: <br />(1) Clothesline poles and wires; <br />(2) Construction and landscaping material currently being used on the premises; <br />(3) Off-street parking of passenger vehicles and light trucks, as defined in this chapter; <br />(4) Firewood, compost, or residential lawn and garden tools; <br />(5) Portable Storage containers that are less than 175 sq. ft. in area, may be permitted on an <br />improved surface for up to 30 days. Use of said storage container in excess of 30 days, requires <br />approval by the Planning and Development Director. <br />Section 7: That Section 106-839 "Number of spaces required". Article VI "Off -Street Parking", of Chapter <br />106. "Zoning," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte.
