<br />Complete Count Committee <br />Minutes of June 30, 2009 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />The committee suggested sharing information with the Cities of Shoreacres and Morgan's Point <br />to help get the word out. <br /> <br />Members were provided an informational packet along with a census bag containing sample <br />promotional items. It was suggested that stickers be included as one of the handouts. <br /> <br />Charlie Perry nominated Don Hill as Chairman; Herman Berges seconded the nomination. All <br />present were in favor; Mr. Hill accepted the role of Chairman. <br /> <br />Paula Swearingen nominated Charlie Perry as Vice-Chairman; Don Hill seconded the nomination. <br />All were in favor; Mr. Perry accepted the role of Vice-Chairman. <br /> <br />It was suggested the committee set-up a booth at the back-to-school health fair being held at <br />the high school during the month of August. Ms. Moore offered to provide hand-outs for the <br />event, although her supply is limited. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore will have a clerical staff person available to help support the Committee as needed. <br /> <br />Formation of subcommittees will be discussed at the next meeting. <br /> <br />E-mail will be the most efficient method of communication between the City and committee <br />members. <br /> <br />4. Discuss meeting schedule. <br /> <br />The committee agreed to convene in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of <br />each month. The next meeting is scheduled for August 4th. <br /> <br />5. Administrative reports <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />6. Committee comments <br /> <br />A.
