Likewise, Forest Street in Shoreacres is intended to be changed to South Forest <br />Street. <br /> <br />On January 22, 2010, a letter (attached) was received with signatures from 23 residents of Forrest Avenue, <br />supporting a name change to North Forrest Avenue. On January 25, 2010, Council conducted a workshop on the <br />matter. <br /> <br />Coordinating a unified effort for La Porte and Shoreacres would mitigate future confusion. The Planning <br />Department recommends adopting an ordinance changing the street names and filing documentation with the Harris <br />County Clerk's Office. <br /> <br /> <br />.)
