The City Manager sent a letter dated July 23, 2002 to Precinct 2 identifying two
(2) streets that would fit within that proposed budget (attached). The streets identified were:

. North 4th Street - West Polk to Barbour's Cut Blvd.
. North 5th Street - Main Street to Barbour's Cut Blvd.

In order to move forth with this Project, the Harris County Public Infrastructure Department has
requested that the City approve a resolution temporarily transferring these streets to the Harris
County Road Log to allow Harris County to legally perform repair and improvements to these
streets. The attached resolution is offered for consideration. Once the improvements are made,
the streets will be removed from the Road Log.

Action Required bv Council: Approve Resolution temporarily transferring North 4th Street and North
Slh Street (within the limits described) to the Harris County Road Log..

\'1-/~ --() 3

Date
