The design phase through bidding has been negotiated for $135,800. And the construction <br />estimated is $1,758,800. This is just an estimate and until we open bids this is the best we have. As we <br />are going through design, Bennie may have revised numbers. Since this project has been broken into 2 <br />projects, I would like to request a resolution for $1,894,600. This way the city is aware of the costs. I am <br />also going to present the design to our commission at their March 31 meeting. And then when we are <br />ready to advertise for construction I will go back to get the construction phase approved. You will receive a <br />new design grant in April and I will be billing you at that time for the $13,580 for design. Your share of <br />the total cost is estimated to be $189,460. I am enclosing a sample resolution and a scope for construction. <br />If! could get the resolution back by February 1, that would be great.
