The direction <br />received was to remove the existing requirement that the property on which towed vehicles are <br />stored must be owned by the operator of the vehicle storage facility. Additionally, direction was <br />provided to include a variance process to the Wrecker Committee with appeal to City Council, as <br />well as to allow for review of performance and response of the permitted wrecker operators. <br />The attached ordinance accomplishes the above specified actions and is submitted for Council <br />consideration.
