City <br /> Secretary <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER - Chairman Martin called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. CITIZEN COMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person, in accordance with state <br /> law, the time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.) <br /> There were no citizen comments. <br /> 3. STATUTORY AGENDA <br /> (a) Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve the October 12, 2020, <br /> meeting minutes. [Chairman Martin] <br /> Member Engelken moved to approve the minutes; Member Earp seconded the motion; <br /> the motion was adopted, 3-0. <br /> (b) Presentation of the preliminary engineering report for the Bayside Terrace <br /> Subdivision Drainage Improvement Project, including discussion and possible <br /> action. [Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works] <br /> Long Nguyen and Andrew Moore of Halff Associates presented the preliminary <br /> engineering report. City Manager Alexander agreed to look into some funding options. <br /> Member Earp moved to recommend Option 2 with the contingency of the floodgate flap <br /> option; the motion was seconded by Member Engelken; the motion was adopted. 3-0. <br /> BAYSIDE TERRACE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> OPINION OF PROBABLE COST-ALTERNATIVE#2 <br /> •Improves existing level of service to meet 100-yr Atlas 14 rainfall for entire project area <br /> Description Alternative 2 <br /> Curb and Gutter <br /> Site Preparation Items $455,900.00 <br /> Paving Items $2,255,387.50 <br /> Storm Sewer Items $1,822,625.00 <br /> Water Reins $1,027.100.00 <br /> Wastewater Items $81.800.00 <br /> Subtotal $5,642.820.00 <br /> Contingency(20°0) $1,128,570.00 <br /> Total $6,771,390.00 <br /> IIC HALFF <br /> November 9, 2020 - Drainage and Flooding Committee Minutes <br />
