All agenda items are subject to action. <br />Social distancing protocols will be in effect in the Council Chambers. <br />Remote participation is available, also. INVOCATION — The invocation will be given by Pastor Brian Christen, La Porte Community Church. <br />PLEDGES — Will be led by Councilperson Bill Bentley. <br />U.S. Flag <br />Texas Flag: Honor the Texas Flag. CITIZEN COMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person; in accordance with state law, the time <br />may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.) <br />4. CONSENT AGENDA (Approval of Consent Agenda items authorizes each to be implemented in accordance <br />with staff recommendations provided. An item may be removed from the consent agenda and added to the <br />Statutory Agenda for full discussion upon request by a member of the Council present at this meeting.) <br />(a) Approve the minutes of the February 22, 2021, City Council meeting. [Mayor Louis R. Rigby] <br />(b) Approve the purchase and installation of two (2) Flygt 25 horsepower pumps and associated <br />piping and valves from Hahn Equipment Co. Inc., as sole source provider, for a cost of <br />$95,552.00 and a project contingency of $9,000.00 [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />(c) Award Bid #21010 Citywide Concrete Sidewalk Repair, to Greenscapes Six, LLC. and <br />authorize the City Manager to execute a contract for unit price work orders with the annual <br />expenditure to not exceed annual budgeted amounts. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />(d) Approve proposed policy to waive residential permit fees related to repairs necessitated by <br />the 2021 Winter Storm. [Teresa Evans, Director of Planning & Development] <br />(e) Adopt Ordinance 2021-3820 amending Section 6.09 "Decorum" of the La Porte City Council <br />Rules of Procedure by requiring that members of City Council wear face masks or face <br />coverings during City Council meetings until such time that the City Council deems it <br />appropriate to rescind the requirement. [Mayor Rigby] <br />(f) Approve proposed changes to the City of La Porte Polices/Procedures Manual regarding the <br />use of facial coverings for individuals in City buildings and facilities.
