Councilperson At -Large Position A, a Councilperson District 4, and a <br />Councilperson District 5, and approving or denying the following proposition: "the <br />reauthorization of the local sales and use tax in the City of La Porte, Texas, at the <br />rate of one-fourth of one percent to continue providing revenue for maintenance <br />and repair of municipal streets. The tax expires on the fourth anniversary of the <br />date of this election unless the imposition of the tax is reauthorized" [the ordinance <br />declared the election of Brandon Lunsford as Councilperson At -Large A; Rick <br />Helton as Councilperson District 4; and Jay Martin as Councilperson District 5; the <br />motion was seconded by Councilperson Bentley; the motion was adopted, 6-0. <br />3. COUNCIL COMMENTS Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on <br />the agenda; items of community interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding <br />specific factual information or existing policy from the Mayor, Councilmembers, <br />and City staff, for which no formal action will be discussed or taken. <br />There were no Council comments. <br />ADJOURN — <br />
