EM <br />E <br />FY22 Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority <br />Statement of MVCPA Auxiliary Grant Award and Grantee Acceptance Notice <br />Grant Number: <br />Grantee: <br />Program Title: <br />Maximum Grant Award Amount: <br />Total Cash Match Amount: <br />Grant Term: <br />608-22-1011300 <br />City of La Porte <br />Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) system <br />$20,000 <br />Minimum 20% (estimated to be $4,000) <br />June 14, 2022 to August 31, 2023 <br />Whereas, City of La Porte (hereinafter referred to as Grantee), has heretofore submitted a grant <br />application in response to the Request for Application issued on March 2, 2022, to the Motor Vehicle Crime <br />Prevention Authority, State of Texas, MVCPA Auxiliary (MAG) Grant Award for an automatic <br />license plate reader (ALPR) system (Lease or Buy), and further identified by grant number 608-22- <br />1011300; and <br />WHEREAS, the Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority has approved the grant application as evidenced <br />by this FY22 Statement of Grant Award and certain special requirements from the Motor Vehicle Crime <br />Prevention Authority dated June 14, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, the Grantee desires to accept the FY22 grant award and use all finds for purposes and in <br />compliance with the following requirements that are adopted in their entirety by reference: <br />• Texas Transportation Code Chapter 1006; <br />• Texas Administrative Code: Title 43; Part 3; Chapter 57; <br />• Texas Grant Management Standards (TxGMS) as promulgated by the Texas Comptroller of Public <br />Accounts including TxGMS Standard Assurances by Local Governments and Standards for Financial <br />and Program Management; <br />• The MVCPA Request for Applications issued on May 3, 2021; <br />• The current Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority Grant Administrative Manual and forms and <br />subsequently adopted grantee instruction manuals and forms; <br />• The Final Adopted Application attached to this Statement of Grant Award; and <br />• The Approved Grant Budget Summary: <br />
