IDe., Pasadena, Texas. NCHC is 80% owned by Nissan Chemical and 20% <br />by Chusei(U.S.A.). ' <br /> <br />NeHC wiD manufacture Organo Silicasel at a new facility being built in Pasadena, Teus. <br />Construction of the 500 metric ton per year plant is slated for completion by August, 1997. <br />NCHC is also planning to construct a second unit for the production of polishing agent for <br />semiconductor sUicone wafers, anticipated to come on stream in 1998. Combined sales for <br />both products is projected to be in excess ofSl0 million anouaDy. <br /> <br />Nissan's Organo Silicasol is a conoidal siliea dispersion of super fine particles in various <br />solvent bases such as methanol, isopropanol and so on. The products find principle use as <br />additives fer coating agents used in resin moldings, as aoti-colTGsion coating agents and as <br />modifien in the manufacture of polyester fdms.
