<br /><:- <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />QUIT CLAIM DEED <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS { <br />{ <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS { <br /> <br />That the CITY OF LA PORTE, a municipal corporation, for and <br /> <br />in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) cash and other <br /> <br />good and valuable considerations, the receipt of which is hereby <br /> <br />acknowledged, does, by these presents, BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE, AND <br /> <br />FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said JOSEPH A. CAMP, JR. and PAULINE <br /> <br />MARTIN CAMP, Individually and as Trustees, their successors and <br /> <br />assigns, all of its right, title and interest in and to that <br /> <br />certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Harris <br /> <br />and State of Texas, described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />BEING THE NORTHERNMOST FORTY FEET (40') OF THE RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY OF WEST "F" STREET LOCATED BETWEEN BLOCK 123 AND <br />141 AND THE RESIDUAL OF BLOCK 123 AND 142, TOWN OF LA <br />PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BETWEEN THE EAST RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY LINE OF STATE HIGHWAY 146 AND THE WEST RIGHT-OF- <br />WAY LINE OF 8TH STREET; SAID PROPERTY BEING FURTHER <br />DESCRIBED BY MAP ILLUSTRATION ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT <br />"A" AND FULLY INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE HEREIN. <br /> <br />SUBJECT TO: The vacating, abandoning, and closing of the <br />above described portion of West "F" Street, shall, as to the <br />North sixteen feet (16') of such property, be subject to and <br />limited by the terms and provisions of each utility franchise <br />agreement between the City of La Porte and its various <br />franchised public utilities, and, as to the North sixteen feet <br />(16') of such property, shall also be subject to the right of <br />the City of La Porte to use the North sixteen feet (16') of <br />said property as and for an easement for an existing eight <br />inch (8") City of La Porte water main and associated <br />facilities. Provided, however, nothing in this paragraph <br />shall impede the right of the owner of said property, to pave <br />and use the surface of said sixteen foot (16') public utility <br />easement, and to make any other and further use of said <br />sixteen foot (16' ) public utility easement which is not <br />inconsistent with the rights of the City of La Porte and its <br />duly franchised public utilities in and to such easement. <br />
