Area Map <br /> <br />Budgeted Item: _YES ...K...-NO <br /> <br />SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Vantage Development #38 Inc. located within the Bayport North Industrial Park has recently approached the <br />City for water and sanitary sewer service to serve the their site. Vantage will operate an office and <br />warehouse/distribution facility at this location. <br /> <br />,,- <br /> <br />Council has approved a policy to provide utility services to companies located outside city limits and within <br />the City's industrial districts. These companies are required to maintain a current Industrial District <br />Agreement with the City. <br /> <br />..J' <br /> <br />Vantage Development #38 Inc. desires to pursue water and sanitary sewer service under the terms of the <br />policy. Based on the company's stated demand for domestic and industrial process uses, the average daily <br />demand for water is 10,300 gallons per day (10,000 gpd for domestic + 300 gpd for industrial processes). <br />This demand includes utilization of water for the building's fire sprinkler system and landscape irrigation. <br />The applicant will pay one and one-half (1-~) times the City's current utility rate. Vantage Development #38 <br />Inc. is subject to an administrative fee in the amount of $15,000 for each agreement. Payment has <br />subsequently been received in the amount of $30,000. <br /> <br />The term of the Water Service Agreement and Sanitary Sewer Service Agreement expires on December 31, <br />2007, plus any renewals and extensions thereof.
