LOUIS RIGBY <br />Mayor <br />BRANDON LUNSFORD <br />Councilperson At Large A <br />BRENT M cCAULLEY <br />Councilperson At Large B <br />MANDI WILLIAMS <br />Councilperson District 1 <br />CHUCK ENGELKEN <br />Councilperson District 2 <br />BILL BENTLEY <br />Councilperson District 3 <br />THOMAS GARZA <br />Councilperson District4 <br />JAY MARTIN <br />Mayor Pro Tem <br />Councilperson District 5 <br />ROBBIE McCLARRIN <br />Councilperson District 6 <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL <br />ON ZONE CHANGE REQUEST#22-92000001 <br />Notice is hereby given that the La Porte City Council will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. on the 28th <br />day of February, 2022, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, <br />Texas, in accordance with the provisions in Section 106-171 of the City of La Porte Code of Ordinances <br />and the provisions of the Texas Local Government Code. <br />The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input on Zone Change Request #22-92000001, a request <br />by the City of La Porte, applicant, for approval of a zone change from Medium Density Residential (R-2) to <br />Low Density Residential (R-1), for a 11.3-acre tract of land located along Ashton Lane and Oakhaven Road; <br />legally described as Lots 45-53, Block 8, Brookglen Section 2; Tract 17D, Abstract 482 W Jones; Lot 1, <br />Block 1, Rigo Estates; and Lots 1-5, Block 1, Risen Valley, Harris County, Texas. <br />Following the public hearing, the City Council will act upon the public hearing item and conduct other <br />matters pertaining to the Council. <br />Citizens wishing to address the Council pro or con during the public hearing are asked to sign in before the <br />meeting is convened. <br />In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, The City of La Porte will provide for reasonable <br />accommodations for persons attending public meetings. To better serve attendees, requests should be <br />received three (3) business days prior to the meeting.
