PHILLIP HOOT <br />Board Member Posibon 1 <br />PAT MCCABE <br />Board Member Position 2 <br />JOHN BLAKEMORE <br />Board Member Position 3 <br />DENNIS OIAN, CHAIRMAN <br />Board Member Position 4 <br />NETTIE WARREN <br />Board Member Position 5 <br />JON WILLIs <br />Board MemberAlternate I <br />FRANK NANCE <br />Board Member Ntemate 2 <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE LA PORTE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS <br />ON SPECIAL EXCEPTION REQUEST #22-94000001 <br />Notice is hereby given that the La Porte Zoning Board of Adjustments will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 <br />P.M. on the 27th day of October 2022, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, <br />La Porte, Texas, in accordance with the provisions in Section 106-171 of the City of La Porte Code <br />of Ordinances and the provisions of the Texas Local Government Code. <br />The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public input on Special Exception Request #21-94000002, a <br />request by Tajudeen Olajuwon, applicant and owner; for a special exception to allow for a reduction <br />of the required rear setback in the R-1 zoning district, on a tract of land located at 10620 Deaf Smith <br />St. and legally described as Lots 301 and 302, Block 6, Battleground Estates Sec. 2, Harris County, TX. <br />Following the public hearing, the Zoning Board of Adjustments will act upon the public hearing item and <br />conduct other matters pertaining to the Board. <br />Citizens wishing to address the Board pro or con during the public hearing are asked to sign in before <br />the meeting is convened. <br />A quorum of City Council members may be present and participate in discussions during this meeting; <br />however, no action will be taken by the Council. <br />In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, The City of La Porte will provide for reasonable <br />accommodations for persons attending public meetings. To better serve attendees, requests should be <br />received three (3) business days prior to the meetings.
