La Porte Airport Advisory Board Meeting <br />Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the La Porte Airport Advisory Board to be held on <br />Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at the Public Works Director's Office, 2963 North 23f0 <br />Street, La Porte, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda <br />items are subject to action. <br />Call to Order <br />1. Citizen Comment (Generally limited to 5 minutes per person; in accordance with state law, <br />the time may be reduced if there are a number of speakers or other considerations) <br />2. Election of chairperson and vice -chairperson. <br />3. Overview of Board functions and discussion of goals. <br />4. Approve meeting minutes from July 12, 2023, meeting. <br />5. Discussion of City airport projects, including LED lighting and the LED beacon. <br />6. Discussion regarding lift station construction zone (temporary crane permit). <br />7. Discussion regarding new hangar construction. <br />8. Discussion regarding pavement condition and warranty period. <br />9. Discussion regarding potential recommendations to City Council on airport matters, including <br />requesting a placeholder in the FY2024-2025 City budget to update the Airport Master Plan. <br />10. Board Comment (Hear announcements concerning items of community interest; and/or <br />inquiries of staff regarding speck factual information or existing policy from members or staff, <br />for which no formal action will be discussed.) <br />11.
