Channel Deepening &/or widening from N. Broadway Street to N. Utah Street, <br /> Conversion of an open channel segment to a closed conduit using dual 8ft by 5ft <br />concrete boxes between N. Utah Street and Main Street, <br /> T <br />box culvert toward the outfall into the open channel section of F212. <br /> The project is currently in the Design Phase and scheduled to begin <br />construction in the early 2023. <br /> The open channel segment of the project has been deemed jurisdictional <br />because of the cost and schedule impacts design alternatives are being <br />developed for consideration <br /> The Conceptual design report discussing the alternatives is due in August <br />of 2022 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />5. A104-12-01 Bayside Terrace Partnership Project <br /> Project lead is City of La Porte <br /> ILA with the City was approved by HCCC on 10/26/21 <br /> HCFCD Contribution ($2.87M) received by the City on 12/21/21 <br /> Per the City, the consultant is finalizing 100% sealed plans, specifications, and <br />OPCC. <br />6. F216-00-00-E001 <br /> Workshop 1 (last Friday) we discussed existing condition ,flooding issues and <br />potential solution along F216. <br /> Phase I &II ( inline detention along mid reach of F216 ) were already designed <br />and constructed in the past .For this study we will focus on a solution in Phase <br />III area (upper reach of F216 ) to provide flood reduction benefits. Maybe do <br />something similar (in line detention) in the Phase III area .
