Population 5,306 (-0) <br />Represented by Councilperson Chuck Engelken...... 3319 Gladwyne Lane, La Porte, <br />Texas <br />District 2 is comprised of two subdivisions, Spinwick and Brookglen. The District is <br />bounded by Spencer Highway on the North, Underwood Road on the East, Fairmont <br />Parkway on the South and San Jacinto College on the West. It is and area of moderately <br />Priced homes with a few general commercial areas along the north, south and east <br />boundries. This area of La Porte was annexed into the corporate limits of La Porte on <br />Nov. 22, 1983. The predominate zoning for this district if residential. <br />There are parks, a civic center with an active homeowners association in the <br />Brookglen area.
