Staff Report, 2013 <br /> November 21 <br />Zoning Ordinance <br />( <br />Chapter 106) <br />Review <br />Summary: <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission Subcommittee is in the process of reviewing the <br />City’s Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 106, Code of Ordinances). Conversion of the <br />Commercial/Industrial Use Table (from SIC to NAICS) is currently underway and will be <br />followed by a comprehensive review of the entire ordinance. <br />The Subcommittee is presenting a draft of the current Commercial/Industrial Districts <br />Use Table which illustrates current zoning, conflicts with the SIC, and newly-classified <br />uses in black, blue and red, respectively. Additional changes to the Zoning Ordinance are <br />highlighted in yellow w/ strikeouts. Existing and proposed footnotes have been included <br />for clarification. <br />Actions by the Commission: <br />1.Discuss progress of the subcommittee <br />2.The Commissionmay elect to: <br />Arrange a public hearing atthe next meeting <br />Consider recommendation to City Council at the conclusion of the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />
