Planning and Zoning Commission Regular Meeting <br /> May 27,2015 <br /> Design Guidelines Waiver—Fairfield Inn &Suites <br /> In reviewing this waiver request, staff is concerned with the discrepancy in the <br /> percentage of stone and brick required.The city's design guidelines intentionally <br /> identified the Highway 146 corridor as the focal point for commercial development in <br /> the city, thereby requiring higher quality architectural design. In this case staff is not <br /> supportive of the waiver request.All development should comply with the design <br /> guideline regulations.
