Planning and Zoning Commission Regular Meeting <br />August 6, 2015 <br />Port Crossing SCUP <br /> <br />Planning and Development Department <br />Staff Report <br />ISSUE <br /> <br />Consider a recommendation to the City Council on a request by the applicant Port <br />Crossing, L.P.; Port Crossing A3, L.P.; Port Crossing A4, L.P.; Port Crossing B4, L.P. for a <br />Special Conditional Use Permit (SCUP) for the Port Crossing Business Park. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Should the Commission desire to consider a recommendation for approval of this <br />request, staff recommends considering various conditions, as included in the attached <br />Exhibit A, Special Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Background Information: <br />This item was included as part of the July 16, 2015 Planning and Zoning Commission <br />agenda. The Commission voted to continue the item to a Special Called Meeting on <br />August 6, 2015. <br /> <br />At the June 8, 2015 City Council meeting, the Council directed staff to work with the <br />property owners of Port Crossing on a number of items to “clean up” various <br />discrepancies between the various documents governing development of the Port <br />Crossing Business Park and memorialize the legal determination that the uses permitted <br />in the Port Crossing development are subject to the provisions of the code at the time <br />the original SCUP was approved in 2006. The following documents have been modified <br />in some manner, and will be presented this evening for consideration: <br />1.Future Land Use Plan. <br />2.Final Plat. <br />3.Special Conditional Use Permit. <br />4.General Plan. <br />5.Development Agreement. <br /> <br />Property Owner: <br />Port Crossing, L.P.; Port Crossing A3, L.P.; Port Crossing A4, L.P.; Port Crossing B4, L.P. <br />Property Location: <br />1 <br /> <br />
