The following codes <br />will be used: <br /> <br />Funding Source <br /> <br />General Obligation Bonds <br />Revenue Bonds <br />Operating Surpluses - General Fund <br />Operating Surpluses - Utility Fund <br />State and Federal Grants <br />Public/Private Partnerships <br />Certificates of Participation <br /> <br />GOB <br />AB <br />GF <br />UF <br />SG or FG <br />PP <br />COP <br /> <br />If a project has multiple funding sources, both codes will be used. For <br />example, a project will be constructed with City General Fund Revenues <br />(Operating Surpluses) and funds from private Citizens, the funding source <br />would be identified as GOB /PP. <br /> <br />funded - The initial funded field will be NO. Once the funding has been <br />approved, this field will change to YES. The Capital Improvement Program <br />will continually be comprised of a mix of funded and unfunded projects. <br /> <br />Description and Location of Project - The Description and Location of the <br />project will provide a detailed, or in-depth, description of the project being <br />requested as well as the suggested location(s) of the project. <br /> <br />Purpose, Justification and Impact on City Operations - The Purpose, <br />Justification and Impact on City Operations will contain a detailed <br />explanation as to the purpose of the project. Justification can be in the <br />form of reference to the City's master plan, committee recommendations <br />(su~ as Visions 89~r required by Federal, State or other regulations. <br />Th6\)1hpact on City~erations includes any cost increases or savings that <br />are expected to result from the completion of the project. <br /> <br />Estimated Project Costs - Each project will contain the estimated cost for the <br />City to achieve the objective of the proposed project. Costs will be <br />described in greater detail in the next section. <br /> <br />5 <br />
