C. <br />ATTORNEYS AT LAW <br /> <br />city of La Porte <br />March 8, 2005 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />To further control the use of the land, and in view of the existing <br />pressures on chemical manufacturing in the united states, due to <br />the high cost of raw materials, the City of La Porte might wish to <br />consider working with a developer, to develop the property as an <br />industrial park, similar to the industrial park on Fairmont Parkway <br />near Underwood Road, which could be subdivided and sold off in <br />individual parcels. This would result in development with very low <br />impact on the environment.
