These groupings may he devoted <br />,to residential use, trade or service activities, <br />industrial activities, recreational activities, or <br />cultural and civic activities." <br /> <br />"The following is' a descript~ve outline of the neighborhood <br />under consideration within this analysis. <br /> <br />LOCATION :. <br /> <br />The specific neighborhood in which <br />the subject is located is in the <br />City of LaPorte in the southeast <br />quadrant of the Metropolitan <br />Houston Area. It could be des- <br />cribed as those properties to <br />the south of Fairmont Parkway <br />b~tween S.H. 146 and So~th Broad- <br />way in the City of LaPorte. <br /> <br />PREDOMINATE DEVELOPMENT: <br /> <br />The majority of properties within <br />the neighborhopd remain vacant at <br />this time with some single family <br />residential and multifamily resi- <br />dential use. The area is bordered <br />by commercial development along <br />S.R. 146, Fairmont Parkway, and <br />South Broadway. Some multifamily <br />residential is also located within <br />the neighbo~hood. <br /> <br />TYPICAL CONSTRUCTION: <br /> <br />Construction details vary greatly <br />within this area.
