Herrera <br />Ci ty Manager <br />City of LaPorte <br />City Hall <br />LaPorte, Texas <br /> <br />Re: Lot 21, Block 1264 <br />Town of LaPorte <br /> <br />Dear Bob: <br /> <br />In connection with this purchase by the City of LaPorte, I enclose herewith the <br />City's original Deed, from Lin Neill Autrey and Carolin Autrey CUrry, which has <br />been recorded under Harris County Clerk's file No. K797599 and the City's OWner <br />Title Policy in the amount of the purchase price, $1,995.99, subject only to the <br />matters shown thereon. <br /> <br />The original Deed and Title policy should be put in the City's permanent Real <br />Estate Records. <br /> <br />The following additional steps should be taken by the City: <br /> <br />1) TQe City was credited with tax proration to the date of the Deed, <br />October 29, 1986, at closing. The City should obtain 1986 tax bills, <br />when available, from each of the taxing agencies, on a prorated <br />basis from January 1, 1986 through October 29, 1986, and pay the same. <br /> <br />2) The City should notify the Harris County Appraisal District of this <br />Purchase, and ask that the property be rendered in the name of the <br />City of LaPorte, and placed on the exempt rolls. <br /> <br />It was a pleasure to have been of service to you in this matter. <br /> <br />Yours very truly, <br /> <br />d4 <br /> <br />Knox W.
