Davis, which has been recorded under Harris <br />County Clerk's file No. K797S98, and the City's OWner Title policy in the amount <br />of the purchase price, $l,lgS.gg, subject only to the matters shown thereon. <br /> <br />The original Deed and Title pOlicy should be put in the City's pennanent Real <br />Estate Records. <br /> <br />The foll~wing additional steps should be taken by the City: <br /> <br />1) The City was credited with tax proration to the date of the Deed, <br />October 16, 1986, at closing. The City should obtain 1986 tax bills, when <br />available, from each of the taxing agencies, on a prorated <br />basis from January 1, 1986 through October 16, 1986, and pay the same. <br /> <br />2) The City should notify the Harris County Appraisal District of this <br />Purchase, and ask that the property be rendered in the name of the <br />City of LaPorte, and placed on the exempt rolls. <br /> <br />It was a pleasure to have been of service to you in this matter. <br /> <br />Yours very truly, <br /> <br /> <br />~ur <br /> <br />Knox W.
