DeFelice, Et Al, which has been recorded <br />under'Harris County Clerk's file No. K869889 and the City's Owner Title Policy <br />in the amount of the purchase price, $8,182.12, subject only to the matters shown <br />thereon. . <br /> <br />-The original Deed and Title Policy should be put in the City's pennanent Real <br />Estate Records. <br /> <br />The fOllowing additional steps should ,be taken by the City: <br /> <br />1) The City was credited with tax proration to the date of the Deed, <br />November 8, 1986, at closing. The City should obtain 1986 tax bills, <br />when available, from each of the taxing agencies, on a prorated <br />ba.~is from January: 1, 1986 through November 8, 1986, and pay the same. <br /> <br />2) The City should notify the Harris County Appraisal District of this <br />Purchase, and ask that the property be rendered in the name of the <br />Ci ty of LaPorte, and placed on the exempt rolls. <br /> <br />It was a pleasure to have been of service to you in this matter. <br /> <br />/,,3P <br /> <br />Yours very truly, <br /> <br />(Ut(i; <br /> <br />Knox W.
