Box 14 <br />La Porte, Texas 77572-0014 <br /> <br />RE: Addendum to Lease Agreement - Future Access to Property <br />Block 38, Lot No. 7 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. White: <br /> <br />Please consider this letter an addendum to the current lease agreement between the City of La Porte (LESSOR) and <br />Hovey-Bethea Powell Post No. 428 of the American Legion (LESSEE). As you and I agreed, the City will permit <br />representatives of Post 428 to access the above referenced property, through the term of the lease agreement, for the <br />purpose of constructing a building at the rear of the property to be used as a home office of the LESSEE. <br /> <br />, LESSEE will provide LESSOR with a minimum of thirty (30) days written notice of intent to proceed with the <br />building construction. The building will be constructed by meeting the City's building codes and standards. Permit <br />fees will be waived for this project.
