Cook, Et AI, which has been recorded under Harris <br />County Clerk's file No. K78474l and the City's OWner Title policy in the amount <br />of the purchase price, $11,599.99, subject only to the matters shown thereon. <br /> <br />The original Deed and Title policy should be put in the City's permanent Real <br />Estate Records. ' <br /> <br />The following additional steps should be taken by the City: <br /> <br />1) The City was credited with tax proration to the date of the Deed, <br />October 19, 1986, at closing. The City should obtain 1986 tax bills, when <br />available, from each of the taxing agencies, on a prorated <br />basis from January 1, 1986 through October 19, 1986, and pay the same. <br /> <br />2) cThe City should notify the Harris County Appraisal pistrict of this <br />Purchase, and ask that the property be rendered in the name of the <br />Ci ty of LaPorte, and placed on the exempt rolls. <br /> <br />It was a pleasure to have been of service to you in this matter. <br /> <br />Yours very truly, <br /> <br />6lri~ <br /> <br />Knox W.
