Cook, Et Al, which has been recorded under Harris <br />County 'Clerk's file No. K784737, and the City's owner Title Policy in the amount <br />of the purchase price, $5,CIJClJCIJ.CIJCIJ, subject only to the matters shown thereon. <br /> <br />The original Deed and Title policy should be put in the City's permanent Real <br />Estate Records. <br /> <br />The following additional steps should be taken by the City: <br /> <br />1) The City was credited with tax proration to the date of the Deed, <br />October 9, 1986, at closing. The City should obtain 1986 tax bills, <br />when available, fram each of the taxing agencies, on a prorated <br />basis f-ram January 1, 1986 through October 9, 1986, and pay the same. <br /> <br />2) The City should notify the Harris County Appraisal District of this <br />Purchase, and ask that the property be rendered in the name of the <br />City of LaPorte, and placed on the exempt rolls. <br /> <br />It was a pleasure to have been of service to you in this matter. <br /> <br />{;t;ry trol <br /> <br /> <br />Knox W.
