~ ~ ~ ~. , ., Section 1: The following described street and right- of-way on which the same are located are hereby closed: (1) That portion of the right-of-way of North "I" street in the City of Morgan's Point, Harris County Texas, lying and being situated between Block 474, Town of LaPorte, an addi tion to the ci ty of Morgan's Point Harris County, Texas, on the South: and Block 477, Town of laPorte, an addition to the City of Morgan's Point Harris County, Texas, on the North: and extending to the West right-of-way of 9th Av~nue. section 2. The Mayor of the City of Morgan's Point is hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed conveying such portion of North "I" street to the abutting property owners. If any section, sentence, phrase, clause, - or any part of any section, sentence, phrase, or clause, of this section 3. ordinance shall, for any reason, be held invalid, such invalidity' shall not affect the remaining portions of the Ordinance, 'and it is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council to have p~ssed each section, sentence, phrase or clause, or part thereof, irrespective of the fact that any other section, sentence, phrase or clause, or part thereof, may be declared invalid. Section 4. The City Council officially finds, determines, recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City I Council was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the city for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings.Law, Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil statutes Annotated: and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during -2- b:\morgansp\ord.7-88 a.c.
