The Mayor of the City of Morgans Point is <br />hereby authorized to enter into an Escrow Agreement with Charles <br />,D. Boyle, Trustee, whereby, Charles D. Boyle agre~s to place in <br />escrow the sum of money equal to $ .75 per square foot of one- <br />half (1/2) of that portion of North "G" Street and North 8th <br />street abutting Block 455 of Town of laPorte,. an addition to the <br />ci ty of' Morgans. PQint,' Harris Coun1;:y, Texas to be paid to the <br />City of Morgans Point, Texas upon conveyance by. Quit' Claim deed <br />of such portion of North "G" street and North 8th Street to <br />. Charles D. Boyle, Trustee on or before August 9, 1989. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance shall ~ecome null and void <br />and of no force and effect ninety (90) days from its adoption <br />unless the City of Morgans Point has been paid '$ .75 per square <br />. foot times the total square footage included within the boundary <br />of the portion of the streets and alleys closed. <br />Section 5. If any section, sentence, phrase, clause, <br />or any part of any section, sentence, phrase, or clause, of this <br />ordinance shall, for any reason, be held invalid, such invalidity <br />shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance, and it <br />is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council to <br />have passed each section, sentence, phrase or clause, or part <br />thereof, irrespective of the fact that any other section, <br />sentence, phrase or clause, or part thereof, may' be declared <br />invalid. <br /> <br />Section 6.
