<br />THAT I, WILLIE H. SMALL, the widow of G. A. SMALL, Deceased, of

<br />Harris County, Texas, hereinafter called Grantor, for and in considera-
<br />
<br />tion of the sum of Ten and NO/lOO Dollars ($10.00) cash and other good
<br />and valuable considerations to me in hand paid by the CITY OF LA PORTE~

<br />a municipal corporation of Harris County, Texas, hereinafter called

<br />Grantee, whose mailing address is Post Office Box 1115, La porte, Texas

<br />77571, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, have

<br />GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL and

<br />CONVEY unto the said Grantee, the following described property, to-wit:

<br />All of Lots 29 and 30, Block 1223, Town of La
<br />porte, Harris County, Texas, according to the
<br />map recorded in Volume 60, Page 112, of the
<br />Deed Records of Harris County, Texas.

<br />Grantor reserves unto itself, its heirs, executors, administrators,
<br />
<br />assigns and successors in trust, all of the oil, gas and other minerals
<br />
<br />to be produced and saved from the above described land, without right
<br />
<br />to use the surface for exploration or production of said minerals.

<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with
<br />
<br />all and singular, the rights and appurtenances thereto in any wise
<br />
<br />belonging unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns forever.
<br />
<br />And Grantor, does hereby bind herself, her heirs, executors and admin-
<br />
<br />istrators, to warrant and forever defend, all and singular the said
<br />
<br />premises unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, against
<br />
<br />every person whomsoever Claiming or to claim the same or any part
<br />
<br />thereof. Taxes for the current year have been prorated and are assumed
<br />
<br />by Grantee.

<br />When this Deed is executed by mOre than one person, or when the
<br />
<br />Grantee is more than one person, the instrument shall read as though
<br />
