e e Maxim 4.0 RECORDS REVIEW 4.1 Historical Use Inro~ation Historical use information for the site and adjoining properties was obtained from reviewing reasonably ascertainable historical sources such as ownership information, aerial photographs, city directories and additional sources listed below. Uses of the site are referenced from the present back until the 1940s, where possible, using reasonably ascertainable standard historical sources as noted below. Uses prior to the 1940s until the time the site was undeveloped relied upon at least one reasonably as~ertainable standard historical source where available. 4.1.1 Ownership Information Harris County Deed Records were reviewed by Realty Data Services to obtain an ownership history for the site. Records were -provided back to 1927 and a copy of the title information is included in the appendices of this report. According to the ownership information, the current owner of the site is the Houston Coca- Cola Bottling Company which obtained title on April 4, 1978. Prior to that the site has been owned by a retail business, a reaIty company, and several individuals. The ownership information did not reveal past owners of the site whose company titles or individu,al names suggest activities typically associated with the use; generation, storage or disposal of hazardous materials. In addition, no petroleum pipeline easements were identified on the site. 4.1.2 Review of Aerial Photogra,phs Reasonably available aerial photographs depicting development of the site and site vicinity ~ere reviewed at periodic intervals, as summarized below. Evaluation of aerials is controlled by aerial photograph scale and quality. Copies of noteworthy aerials are presented in the appendices of this report.
