<br />THIS DEED IS A REPLACEMENT TAX RESALE DEED FOR A TAX RESALE DEED EXECUTED
<br />BY CITY OF LA PORTE MAYOR ALTON PORTER ON AUGUST 9, 2005. THE 2005 TAX
<br />RESALE DEED WAS NOT FILED FOR RECORD WITH THE HARRIS COUNTY CLERK'S
<br />OFFICE BY THE GRANTEE. THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS REPLACEMENT DEED IS
<br />AUGUST 9, 2005.
<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that the CITY OF LA PORTE, TRUSTEE, for itself and
<br />LA PORTE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, ,HARRIS COUNTY, AND SAN JACINTO
<br />COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT, acting through its duly elected officials (hereinafter
<br />"GRANTOR") as authorized by Section 34.05 of the Texas Property Tax Code, for and in consideration
<br />of the sum TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION,
<br />in hand paid by ZION HILL BAPTIST CHURCH (hereinafter "GRANTEE") the receipt of which is
<br />hereby acknowledged and confessed, has conveyed' and does hereby convey unto said GRANTEE all of
<br />the right, title and interest of GRANTOR and all other taxing units interested in the tax foreclosure
<br />judgment against the property herein described, acquired by tax foreclosure sale heretofore held under
<br />Suit. No. 1998-29647, City of La Porte, Et Al vs. Elizabeth K. Corbin, Et Al in the 164"' District Court
<br />of Harris County, said property described as follows:
<br />LOTS 27 AND 28, BLOCK 90, TOWN OF LA PORTE, ACCORDING TO THE MAP OR PLAT
<br />THEREOF RECORDED IN THE MAP RECORDS OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS AND ALSO
<br />DESCRIBED IN VOLUME 2133, PAGE 485, DEED RECORDS OF HARRIS COUNTY,
<br />TEXAS, AND COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS 423 N. FIFTH STREET, LA PORTE, TEXAS
<br />77571. ACCOUNT NO.023-209-000-0027
<br />This conveyance is made and accepted subject to the following matters to the extent that the same
<br />are in effect at this time: any and all rights of redemption, restrictions, covenants, conditions, easements,
<br />encumbrances and outstanding mineral interests, if any, relating to the hereinabove described property,
<br />but only to the extent that they are still in effect and shown of record in the hereinabove mentioned
<br />county and state, and to all zoning laws, regulations and ordinances of municipal and/or other
<br />governmental authorities, if any, but only to the extent that they are still in effect and relate to the
<br />hereinabove described property.
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and singular the rights,
<br />privileges, and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, his heirs and
<br />assigns forever, so that neither the Grantor, nor any other taxing unit interested in said tax foreclosure
<br />judgment, nor any person claiming under it and them, shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand
<br />any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
