<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
<br />
<br />That BAYSHORE SAVINGS ASSOCIATION, of La Porte, Harris County,
<br />
<br />Texas, acting herein by and through its duly authorized officers,
<br />
<br />for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) cash,
<br />
<br />and other good and valuable considerations, to it in hand paid by
<br />
<br />the CITY OF LA PORTE, a municipal corporation, receipt of which
<br />
<br />is acknowledged, has Granted, Sold and Conveyed, and by these
<br />
<br />presents does Grant, Sell and Convey unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE,
<br />a public utility easement,for use by the said CITY OF LA PORTE,
<br />
<br />and for use also by those public utilities holding franchises
<br />
<br />from the CITY OF LA PORTE, an easement over, under, and across
<br />
<br />the following described tract of land situated in the City of
<br />
<br />La Porte, Harris County, Texas, more particularly described as
<br />
<br />follows, to-wit:
<br />
<br />BEING a 16 foot wide easement for utilities partially
<br />out of Block 1109 and partially out of South First
<br />Street, Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, as
<br />recorded i:n Volume 60', at Page 115, Harris County Deed
<br />Records, said 16 foot wide easement being more parti-
<br />cularly described as follows:
<br />
<br />BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said Block 1109,
<br />Town of La Porte, said point being the intersection of
<br />the South right-of-way line of West "J" Street with the
<br />East right-of-way line of South First Street;
<br />
<br />THENCE, East, along the North line of Block 1109 and
<br />the South right-of-way line of West "J" Street, a distance
<br />of 3.00 feet to a point for corner;
<br />
<br />THENCE, South, parallel to and 3.00 feet East of the
<br />East right-of-way line of South First Street being also
<br />the West line of Block 1109, a distance of 400.00 feet
<br />to a point for corner in the South line of Block 1109,
<br />said point being also in the North right-of-way line of
<br />West "K" Street;
<br />
<br />THENCE, West, along the South line of Block 1109 and a
<br />Westerly projection of said South line of Block 1109, a
<br />distance of 16.00 feet to a point for corner; said
<br />point being West a distance of 13.00 feet from the
<br />Southwest corner of said Block 1109;
<br />
<br />THENCE, North, parallel to and 13.00 feet West of the
<br />East right-of-way line of South First Street being also
<br />the West line of Block 1109, a distance of 400.00 feet
<br />to a point for corner;
<br />
<br />THENCE, East, a distance of 13.00 feet to the POINT OF
<br />BEGINNING.
