COUNTY OF HARRIS I KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PBESENTS: That we, BAY SHORE REALTY CO., INC. for Ten ($10.00) Dollars and other valuable considerations to us in hand paid by the CITY OF LA PORTE have TRANSFERRED, SOLD, ASSIGlm and CONVEYED and by these presents do trans- fer, sell. assign 8..11d convey untro--the said City of LaPorte the water lines presently located in the subdivision known as Bay ShoTe Park located in Harris County, Texas, as seid subdivision is duly platted in the Map Records of Harris County. Texas. The water lines covered by this assignment consist of the following: 2797 feet of lilt galvanized pipe 1300 feet of 1/4" galvanized pipe 630 feet of 1" galvanized pipe 100 feet of 3/4" galvanized pipe 108 cut-offs For the same consideration, to the extent that its ownership permits, the Bay Shore Realty Co., Inc. herewith grants unto the City of LaPorte the right of ingress and egress to said water lines as presently laid for all purposes reasonably incidental to the maintenance and repair of the same. It is the purpose of this instrument to convey the water lines hereinabove referred to to the City of Laporte in order to enable the said City of LaPorte to incorporate said lines into its water system and to con- tinue the maintenance of water service to lots located in Bay Shore Park. The City of Laporte, by the acceptance hereof. agrees that the water lines herein conveyed to it shall not be removed or abandoned. but that the same shall be maintained for continued water service to lots located in Bay Shore Park. Nothing in this paragraph shall impair the right of the City of Laporte to remove all or portions of said lines where the same are immediately replaced. This instrument shall not be operative to convey to the City of Laporte the present artesian water well owned by the Bay Shore Realty Co., Inc. and located in said Bay Shore Park, nor shall it be operative to convey to the City of Laporte any of the machinery and tanks appurtenant to said artesian water well.
