Box 1115 <br />La Porte, Texas 77571 <br /> <br />Return to: <br /> <br />ADDRESS OF GRANTEE: <br /> <br />D <br /> <br />hereinafter called the Grantor (whether one or more) for and in <br />consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good <br />and valuable consideration, cash to us in hand paid by the Ci ty of <br />La Porte, a municipality, the receipt and sufficiency of which is <br />hereby acknowledged and confessed, have this day GRANTED, BARGAINED, <br />SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT, SELL, AND CONVEY <br />unto the said CITY OF LA .POR'rE, TEXAS, and to its successors and <br />assigns'the perpetual right, privilege and easement, with appropriate <br />rights of ingress and e'gress and reasonable working area for con- <br />struction and maintenance, to enter upon and construct, reconstruct, <br />maintain, operate, inspect, replace, repair and remove a <br />potable water main and related aopurtenances , <br />together with all necessary improvements over and across certain <br />lands and premises owned by the said Grantor, the land and premises <br />being burdened with said easement being described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />Being a 16.00 feet wide utility easement over a portion of 28.3135 acre tract <br />shown on a survey by Irving C. Peabody in June of 1974;' said 28.-3-13-5 a'cre.'tra'ct is ' <br />out of Lot 9, F. A. Staashen Subdivision, Enoch Brinson Survey, A-5, Harris County, <br />Texas, according to the plat recorded in Volume 1, Page 22 of the Harris County Map <br />Records.
