Skarda, of La Porte, Texas, HEREIN=~ <br />AFTER called the Grantor (whether one or more) for and in con- <br />sideration of the sum of one dollar and other good and valuable <br />consideration, cash to Us in hand paid by the City of La Porte, <br />Texas, a municipality, the receipt and sufficiency of which is <br />hereby acknowledged and confessed, have this day GRANTED, BAR- <br />GAINED, SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT, BAR- <br />GAIN, SELL, AND CONVEY unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, <br />a. municipality, and to its successors and assigns the perpetual <br />right, privilege and easement, with appropriate rights of in- <br />gress and egress and reasonable working area for construction and <br />maintenance, to enter upon and construct, reconstruct, maintain, <br />operate, inspect, replace, repair and remove an eight (8) inch <br />water main together with all necessary improvements over and <br />across certain lands and premises owned by the said Grantor, and <br />located in the Enoch Brinson Survey, in Harris County, Texas, <br />the property being burdened with said easement being recorded <br />in Volume 6056, Page 50 of the Harris County Deed Records and <br />further described below. <br /> <br />COMMENCING at the Northeast corner of the South 200 feet <br />of Outlot 1; said corner being coincident with the West <br />right-of-way line of 26th Street (Sens Road) based on a <br />width of 60.00 feet. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Westerly direction; coincident with the <br />South boundary line of a tract of land conveyed by <br />I. C. Wayne Norris to June M. Crittenden as evidenced <br />by the instrument recorded in Harris County Clerk's Film <br />Code Number 136-95-1457 and dated August 21, 1979 and co- <br />incident with the North boundary line of the South 200 <br />feet of Outlot 1; a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT <br />OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Southerly direction; parallel with the West <br />right-of-way line of 26th Street; a distance of 200 feet <br />(more or less) to a point for corner. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Westerly direction; coincident with the <br />South boundary line of the South 200 feet of Outlot 1 <br />and the North boundary line of Outlot 20; a distance of <br />10.00 feet to a point for corner. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Northerly direction; parallel with the West <br />right-of-way line of 26th Street; a distance of 200 feet <br />(more or less) to a point for corner. <br /> <br />THENCE, in an Easterly direction; coincident with the <br />North boundary line of the South 200 feet of Outlot 1 <br />and the South boundary line of the aforementioned tract <br />of land as recorded in Harris County Clerk's Film Code <br />Number 136-95-1457; a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT <br />OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement, together <br />with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in <br />anywise belonging unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, its <br />successors or assigns, in accordance with the terms and condi- <br />tions hereinabove set forth.
