Box 1115 <br /> <br />UTI LIT Y <br /> <br />EASEMENT <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS X <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS X <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS <br /> <br />That I (We), June Crittenden, of La Porte, Texas, HEREIN- <br />AFTER called the Grantor (whether one or more) for and in con- <br />sideration of the sum of three thousand dollars ($3;000.00) by <br />the City of La Porte, Texas, a municipality, the receipt and <br />sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged and confessedr <br />have this day GRANTED, ,BARGAINED, SOLD AND CONVEYED and by <br />these presents do GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY unto the <br />said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, a municipality, and to its suc- <br />cessors and assigns the perpetual right, privilege and ease~ <br />ment, with appropriate rights of ingress and egress and reason-' <br />able working area for construction and maintenance, to enter <br />upon and construct, reconstruct, maintain, operate, inspect, <br />replace, repair and remove a.twelve (12) . inch water main together <br />with all necessary improvements over and across certain lands <br />and premises owned by the said Grantor, and located in the <br />Enoch Brinson Survey and the Richard Pearsall Survey, in Harris <br />County, Texas, the property being burdened with said easement <br />being recorded in Harris County Clerk's Film Code Numbers <br />136-95-1457 and 146-92-0416, and further described below. <br /> <br />iCOMMENCING at the Northeast corner of said Outlot 1, <br />said point be.ing also the Southeast corner of Outiot <br />240 and being also a point in the West right-of-way <br />line of 26th Street (Sens Road); <br /> <br />THENCE, West, coincident with the South line of said <br />Outlot 240, and coincident with the North line of said <br />Outlot 1, a distance of 20.00 feet to the POINT OF <br />BEGINNING of this 10.00 foot wide utility easement; <br /> <br />THENCE, South, parallel with and 20.00 feet West of <br />the West right-of-way line of 26th Street, a distance <br />of 270 feet, more or less, to a point for corner in <br />the South line of the said Crittenden tract, said point <br />being also in the North line of, that certain South 200 <br />feet of Outlot 1 as conveyed by Robert L. Downs, Jr. to <br />Dennis M. Skarda by deed dated August 24, 1965, and re- <br />corded in Volume 6065, at Page 50 of the Harris County <br />Deed Records; <br /> <br />THENCE, East, coincident with the South line of the <br />said Crittenden.tract and the North line of the said <br />Skarda tract, a distance of 20.00 feet to a point for. <br />corner in the West right-of-way line of 26th SLreet, <br />said point being also the Southeast corner of the said <br />Crittenden tract and the Northeast corner of the said <br />Skarda tract; <br /> <br />THENCE, North, coincident with the West right-of-way <br />line of 26th Street, a distance of 10.00 feet to a point <br />for corner; <br /> <br />THENCE, West, a distance of 10.00 feet to a point for <br />corner; <br /> <br />THENCE, North, parallel with and 10.00 feet West of the <br />West right-of-way line of 26th Street, a distance of <br />260 feet, more or less, to a point for corner in the <br />North line of said Outlot 1, said point being also in <br />the South line of Outlot 240; <br /> <br />THENCE, West, coincident with the North line of said <br />Outlot 1 and the South line of said Outlot 240, a dis- <br />tance of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />
