<br />1 · <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />" <br />L"L"it <br /> <br />UTILITY <br />EASEMENT <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS <br /> <br />s <br />s <br />s <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />THAT Big Three Industries, Inc., a Texas corporation, hereinafter called <br />"Grantor", for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good <br />and v&1uable consideration, including the conditions, covenants and agreements <br />hereinafter provided to be kept and performed by City of La Porte, Texas a <br />municipality, hereinafter called "Grantee", hereby grants and conveys unto said <br />Grantee an. easement the right to lay, construct, operate, maintain, repair and <br />remove an eight inch (8") in diameter water main for the transmission of water <br />only, over, across and through the following described property in Harris County, <br />Texas: <br /> <br />said easement having the following centerline description: <br /> <br />COMMENCING at the Northeast corner of Outlot 240, which is coincident <br />with the intersection of the South right-of-way line of North "H" Street and <br />the West right-of-way line of 26th Street; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a: Southerly direction; coincident with the West right-of-way <br />line of 26th Street (Sens Road); a distance of 380 feet (more or less) to a <br />point for corner that is coincident with the Northeast corner of the <br />aforementioned 0.8141 acre tract; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Westerly directipn; coincident with the North boundary line <br />of the 0.8141 acre tract of land and coincident with the South boundary line <br />of that certain tract of land conveyed by Melvin S. Cohn, Trustee, to <br />Donald F. Ford on July IS, 1976, according to the deed recorded under Harris <br />County Clerk's Film Code No. 148-11-2507; a distance of 10.00 feet to a point <br />for the Northeast corner of this easement and the POINT OF BEGINNING; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Southerly direction; parallel with the West right-of-way line <br />of 26th Street; a distance of 50 feet to a point for the Southeast corner of <br />this easement; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Westerly direction; coincident with the South boundary line of <br />Outlot 240 and the South boundary line of the aforesaid 0.8141 acre tract; a <br />distance of 10.00 feet to a point for the Southwest corner of this easement; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Northerly direction; parallel with the West right-of-way line <br />of 26th Street; a distance of 50 feet to a point for the Northwest corner of <br />this easem ent; , <br /> <br />THENCE, in an Easterly direction; coincident with the South boundary line <br />of the aforesaid tract of land conveyed to Donald F. Ford, trustee and <br />coincident with the North boundary line of the aforesaid 0.8141 acre tract of <br />land; a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; <br /> <br />Subject, however, to the following conditions, covenants and agreements which by <br />its acceptance of the easement granted hereby Grantee agrees to keep and <br />perform. <br /> <br />Page I of 4 <br />
