<br />La Porte, a municipality, the receipt and sufficiency of which is
<br />hereby acknowledged and confessed, have this day GRANTED, BARGAINED,
<br />SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT, SELL, AND CONVEY
<br />unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, and to its successors and
<br />assigns the perpetual right, privilege and easement, with appropriate
<br />rights of ingress and egress and reasonable working area for con-
<br />struction and maintenance, to enter upon and construct, reconstruct,
<br />maintain, operate, inspect, replace, repair and remove a

<br />together with all necessary improvements over and across certain
<br />lands .and premises owned by the said Grantor, the land and premises
<br />being burdened with said easement being describeq as follows, to-wit:

<br />Being a 10.00 feet wide utility easement for the purpose of maintaining a
<br />sanitary sewer line across the East 10.00 feet of Lots 22, 23, 24, and 25, Block
<br />1101, Town of La Porte, Johnson Hunter Survey, A-35, La Porte, Harris County, Texas I
<br />as recorded in Volume 60, Page 114, Harris County Deed Records.
<br />Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 17, Block 1101, said corner being
<br />coincident with the West right-of-way lines of the 8th Street (based on a width
<br />of 80.00 feet) and the North right-of-way line of "K" Street (based on a width
<br />of 60.00 feet).
<br />Thence, North; coincident with the West right-of-way line of 8th Street; a
<br />distance of 125.00 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 22, Block 1101 and the POINT
<br />OF BEGINNING.
<br />Thence, North; coincident with the West right-of-way line of 8th Street; a
<br />distance of 100.00 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 25, Block 1101.
<br />Thence, West; coincident with the common boundary line of Lots 25 and 26;
<br />a distance of 10.00 feet to the Northwest corner of this 10.00 feet wide easement.
<br />Thence, South a distance of 100.00 feet to the Southwest corner of this
<br />10.00 feet wide easement.
<br />Thence, East; coincident with the common boundary line of Lots 21 and 22;
<br />a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
