<br />tlbTILITY EXTENSION AGREEME~ <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS: <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS <br /> <br />This agreement, made this 5th day of October, 1988, by and between <br />the City of La Porte, herein called "City", acting herein through <br />Doug Latimer. <br />A corporation doing business as: <br />Mechanical Repair & Engineering, <br />Inc. <br />of La Porte, County of Harris, and State of Texas, hereinafter <br />called "Owner". <br /> <br />~~ E SSE T H <br /> <br />(1) All references to "Utility Main(s)" hereunder shall, for the <br />purposes of this agreement, refer to as a minimum; an <br />extension of a 8" water main and appurtenances together with <br />the installation of a fire hydrant necessary to meet the City <br />of La Porte Fire Code and allow for the issuance of a build- <br />ing permit for a proposed expansion of the business at 202 N. <br />18th Street. <br /> <br />The proposed expansion is identified by the site plan pre- <br />paired by H. Carlos Smith Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. and is <br />attached as a reference. <br /> <br />(2) Owner is the owner of certain property in the City of La <br />Porte, Harris County, Texas, identified as; Lots 1-16, and a <br />sixteen foot (16') wide alley (closed and abandoned) Nebraska <br />Syndicut. <br /> <br />City's utility mains do not presently extend to said property. <br />Owner has requested City to extend utility mains to Owner's said <br />property. <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />.
