Covington and IlIa Vivian Covington, of Harris <br /> <br />County, Texas, hereinafter called the Grantor (whether one or more) <br />for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and NO/lOO Dollars <br />($10.00) cash and other good and valuable considerations, to us in <br />hand paid by the City of La Porte, a municipal corporation, of <br />Harris County, Texas, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />acknowledged and confessed, have this day GRANTED, BARGAINED, <br />AND CONVEYED and by these presents does GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL <br />CONVEY unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, a municipal <br /> <br />SOLD}\ <br />AND )J <br /> <br />corporation, its successors and assigns, for use by the City of La <br /> <br />~ Porte, the perpetual right, privilege and easement, with appropriate <br />rights of ingress and egress and reasonable working area for <br /> <br />construction and maintenance, to enter upon and construct, <br /> <br />reconstruct, maintain, operate, inspect, replace, repair and remove, <br /> <br />a twelve inch (12n) water line and facilities, over and across <br /> <br />certain lands and premises owned by the said Grantor, and located in <br /> <br />Harris County, Texas, said easement being more particularly <br /> <br />described as a ten foot (10') wide strip of land, immediately south <br />of and contiguous to the right-of-way of Spencer Highway, based on <br /> <br />one hundred foot (100') right-of-way width, the property being <br /> <br />burdened with said ten foot (10') wide water line easement being <br /> <br />more particularly described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />Lots 22 through 24, Block 2, Spenwick Place, Section <br />One (1), an addition in Harris County, Texas, according <br />to the map or plat recorded in Volume 42, Page 64 of the <br />Map Records of Harris County, Texas. <br /> <br />~[) <br /> <br />Note: Paul D. Covington and Vivian D. Covington hold the City <br />of Laporte responsible and liable for the gasoline tanks on <br />the proposed construction.
