<br />That I (We) La Porte Independent School District, of Harris
<br />County, Texas, hereinafter called the Grantor (whether one or more)
<br />for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and
<br />other good and valuable consideration, cash to us in hand paid by
<br />the City of La Porte, a municipality, the receipt and sufficiency of
<br />which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, have this day GRANTED,
<br />BARGAINED, SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT, SELL, /oo~
<br />AND CONVEY unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, and to its /~
<br />successors and assigns the perpetual right, privilege and easement,
<br />with appropriate rights of ingress and egress and reasonable working
<br />area for construction and maintenance, to enter upon and construct,
<br />reconstruct, maintain, operate, inspect" replace, repair and remove
<br />an 8n waterline extension, together with, all necessary improvements
<br />over and across certain lands 'and premises owned by the said
<br />Grantor, the land and premises being burdened with said easement
<br />being described as follows, to-wit: i'"

<br />Being a 10.00 feet wide waterline'easement across Block 274 and
<br />a portion of Block 297, Town of La Porte ;..,., Johnson Hunter
<br />Survey, A-35, Harris County, Texas. The 10.00 feet wide
<br />utility easement is described by metes and bounds on Exhibit
<br />nAn attached hereto, incorporated by reference herein, and made
<br />a part hereof for all purposes.
<br />
<br />This is a Correction Easement, which supercedes that certain
<br />utility Easement from the La Porte Independent School District
<br />to the City of La Porte, dated May 20, 1985, recorded under
<br />Harris County Clerk's file No. K168l33.
<br />
<br />ADDRESS OF GRANTEE: P.O. Box 1115, La Porte, TX 77572-1115
<br />
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement, together with
<br />all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise
<br />belonging unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, its successors or
<br />assigns, in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinabove set \
<br />forth. The Grantor does hereby bind himself, his heirs, executors
<br />and administrators to warrant and forever defend, all and singular
<br />the said easement unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, its
<br />successors or assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully
<br />claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
