STATE OJ' TEXAS s s .s DOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OJ' BARRIS This Coastal Easement (hereinafter the "Lease") is granted by virtue of the authority granted by Chapter 33, TEX. NAT. RES. CODE and all amendments thereto; 31 Texas Administrative Code Chapters 1 and 155 and all amendments thereto; and subject to all rules and regulations promulgated by the Commissioner of the Texas General Land Office and/or the School Land Board pursuant thereto and all other applicable statutes. Article I. Premises section 1.01. In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements set forth in this Lease, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the State of Texas, acting by and through Garry Mauro, Commissioner of the Texas General Land Office and Chairman of the School Land Board, on behalf of the Permanent School Fund ("Lessor") does hereby grant to The City of La Porte, ,,-exas, whose address is P.O. Box 1115, La.Porte, Texas 77572-1115, whose phone number is (713) 471-5020 ("Lessee") the right to use the tract of real property described as 9,532 square feet of submerged state land located in Galveston Bay, State Tract #213, Harris County, Texas, to be used for a public fishing pier, more particularly described by location map in Exhibit "A", and depicted in Exhibits "B" and "C" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes and all improvements located hereon (the "Leased Premises"). .. . .0 00 ..........
