<br />That I (We) Akzo Nobel Chemicals. Inc.
<br />of the Bavoort Industrial District ,
<br />HEREINAFTER CALLED THE GRANTOR (whether one or more) for and in

<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENT:

<br />consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars and other good and
<br />valuable consideration, cash to Us in hand paid by the City of La Porte, Texas,
<br />a municipality, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged and~
<br />confessed, have this day GRANTED, BARGAINED, SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these , ~A J
<br />presents do GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL, AND CONVEY unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, ~
<br />TEXAS, a municipality, its successors and assigns, for use by the City of La
<br />Porte, the perpetual right, privilege and easement, with appropriate rights of
<br />ingress and egress and reasonable working area for construction and maintenance,
<br />to enter upon and construct, reconstruct, maintain, operate, inspect, replace,
<br />repair and remove a 3" water meter station and aoourtenances within a
<br />6' x 14' easement further described in the metes and bounds descriotion labeled
<br />as Attachment liB".
<br />together with all necessary improvements over and across certain lands and
<br />premises owned by the said GRANTOR, and located within a designated Industrial
<br />District of the City of La Porte, said land being legally described on the
<br />attached Attachment "A" (hereinafter "Land").
<br />
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement, together with all and
<br />singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said
<br />CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, its successors and assigns, and its franchised public
<br />utilities, in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinabove set forth.
<br />The GRANTOR does hereby bind himself, his heirs, executors and administrators to
<br />WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND, all and singular the said easement unto the said CITY
<br />OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, its successors and assigns, against every person whomsoever
<br />lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.

<br />In the event the aforementioned 3" water meter and appurtenances are permanently
<br />removed and water is no longer being provided by the City of La Porte, Texas, the
<br />foregoing easement shall be reverted back to the GRANTOR for and 1n consideration
<br />of the sum of Ten Dollars.
