STAASHEN SUBDIVISION, ENOCH BRINSON SURVEY, A-5, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Porte has been requested by the record owner of a 28.3135 acre tract out of Lot 9, F.A. Staashen Subdivision, Enoch Brinson Survey, A-5, Harris County, Texas, to abandon an existing sixteen (16) foot wide utility easement located within the owner's said property; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Porte has determined and does hereby find, determine, and declare that the hereinafter described sixteen (16) foot wide utility easement is no longer suitable, needed, or beneficial to the public as a utility easement, and the abandonment of the hereinafter described sixteen (16) foot wide utility easement is for the protection of the public and for the public interest and benefi t, and that the hereinafter described sixteen (16) foot wide utility easement should be permanently abandoned. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1.
