CobbFendley <br />adequate access is obtainable and necessary precautions are identified to <br />maintain public safety. <br />3. The Engineer will coordinate with the City and other entities having jurisdiction <br />or interest in the project (e.g. Harris County, HCFCD, etc.) throughout the <br />design process. <br />4. CobbFendley will provide project coordination and oversight to internal design <br />team(s) and subcontractor(s), CobbFendley will conduct monthly progress <br />meeting with the City to discuss: the work completed to date, work planned for <br />the next period, and the project cost updates. These meetings will also be <br />utilized to obtain clarification or input from the City and will be held via Microsoft <br />Teams. <br />5. CobbFendley will review project related technical information (e.g., records/as- <br />built drawings, engineering reports, topography data, existing permits, etc.) that <br />the City will provide in order to obtain relevant information and expedite the <br />design. <br />6. CobbFendley will perform field work which will include site visits to obtain <br />additional field data and to conduct geotechnical investigations. One <br />geotechnical boring is proposed near the pierentrance to identify soil properties <br />and to obtain necessary design data. <br />7. CobbFendley will complete designs and prepare construction documents <br />(Plans, Specifications, and construction cost estimates), for bidding and award <br />of the Sylvan Beach Pier Rehabilitation. Anticipated plan sheets include: <br />Cover Sheet, General Notes, Overall Site Plan, Pier Plan and Profile, Pier <br />Cross -Sections and Details, SW313 and Summary of Quantities. <br />8. One geotechnical boring will be obtained at the site. Geotest Engineering, Inc. <br />will be providing geotechnical services and has provided a scope and fee <br />estimate included as Attachment B. <br />Bid Phase Services <br />1. Provide Notice to Bidders (NTB) to the City in an electronic form appropriate <br />for the City's bid format. <br />2. Prepare bid package and post to Civcast. <br />3. Chair pre -bid meeting and attend the Bid Opening. <br />4. Respond in writing via CivCast to questions from bidders and prepare addenda <br />as necessary. <br />5. Prepare Engineers Recommendation of Award Letter that includes the <br />following required content: <br />a. Check for math errors and reconcile any mathematical discrepancies <br />b. Review for unbalanced bid items <br />c.
